Day 164 – Have ever surfed the web, come across something badass that you want to remember, but had nowhere to store it? The solution used to be bookmarks, but no one ever goes back to those things. Pinterest is the solution.
Pinterest is a new website and app that I’ve been enjoying lately. And by “lately,” I mean every single day. In fact, its one of the first websites/apps I use every day because it helps me get dressed in the morning.
Come on guys. Be real. Don’t act like this is a thing that only ladies do. “What should I wear today” is a common question amongst all. Pinterest helps me solve that problem.
When I find a cool assemble (guys don’t say “outfit”) I simply hit the ‘Pin It” button installed on my browser. The picture is added to my style pinboard which I can easily go back to when standing in my walk-in closet.
Its not just for clothes. I also have pinboards for “places I want to see with my own eyes” and “technology I want fiercely” I even have a pinboard for things that are “just plain awesome.”
Some are saying that Pinterest is a website for the ladies. I say NAY! Sure, its dominated by baby pictures, pink clothing and recipes, but its also a good place to store the manliest of manly items – cars, bowties, cufflinks, sporting equipment – you name it, Pinterest is a place to store all the things you find badass.
I’m calling on every man to check out Pinterest, ignore the baby pictures, and give it a shot. Help me take it back from the ladies.
