Day 128 – Today, with some awfully kind donations from good friends, the Pub Politics charity challenge for the Carolina Children’s Home crossed over $3,000. Now we have to pump that number up even higher.

Day 127 – No time for blogging today. It was a busy week for both work and Pub Politics.

It’s the holiday season: we rejoice in miracles and holiness of this time, enjoying family, food, friends, and festivities. As families, we gather to share time, love and traditions and create memories that last a lifetime.
Day 125 – Sometimes things can get a little heated in the political scene. We all make mistakes, but learning from them is the way to become a better person and help change the world around you.
Day 124 – Today I had the opportunity to spend some time with Joe Erwin, former SC Democratic Party Chairman and President of Erwin Penland, a SC based advertising firm with over 400 employees. The meeting was set up by former SC Governor Jim Hodges.
Day 123 – Last night while at the Bachmann book signing I ran into the new edition of Emily Post’s etiquette book. This one was updated with all the latest etiquette tips for a new day dominated by technology. Seeing that my wife is an etiquette expert, I thought it was the perfect gift.
After all, Elizabeth’s love language is gifts. Mine is words of affirmation. I like to be told that I’m rocking shiz.
Day 122 – After spending some time on the presidential trail today, I recorded my first audio post. This is something completely different. I hope you get something out of it.
Day 121 – Whew…I’m beat.
I woke up at 4:00 AM to hop a flight back from DC to Columbia. I was in town less than twenty-four hours for a quick meeting. Now I’m heading back to Columbia where I will immediately hook up with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann for a book tour stop.
Day 120 – Phil and I have decided to start using Pub Politics for something other than drinking and bitching. The show is growing by leaps and bounds and when Republicans and Democrats come together, we should be using the opportunity to solve real problems. Look for our launch soon.
