Day 98 – A busy week. No time for writing. Here’s a quick video I shot from a US Airways flight on the way to Washington, DC where I’m heading for the Campaigns and Elections CampaignTech conference.
Kill the Time Vampire
Day 97 – It is my only full day in the office for two weeks and it seriously looks like the scheduling beast vomited all over my calendar. Meetings and conference calls are time vampires. They suck all the time out of your day, leaving you dead in search of more time to suck.
Out of gas
Day 96 – What a day. My brain hurts.
The day started in Charleston with a meeting with Congresswoman Bachmann. We then rushed to Columbia for a lunch fundraiser. I then hit WACH Fox for our Pub Politics taping.
Politicking in Charleston
Day 95 – Hey guys. I really don’t have a lot of time to blog today. I’m on the road with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in Charleston. Let me tell you…there are worst places to wake up in the morning than Charleston, South Carolina. Elizabeth and I drove down last night, had dinner on King Street and now we are working from a hotel room.
Divorce is not an option
Day 94 – Today I continued my teaching of CS Lewis’ Mere Christianity in Sunday school. I must be doing a really good job because our class has doubled in size since we began the study. Although I’m sure it has more to do with another class disbanding than my class rocking.
In today’s discussion we concentrated a great deal on marriage where CS Lewis talks about the difference of being “in love” vs. real love.
Just having fun
Day 93 – On a plane again. A big ole Delta 757 this time.
I don’t know if I convinced Elizabeth to move out to San Francisco, but I know I convinced myself.
A visit to wine country
Day 92 – Building on my plan to lure Elizabeth to the west coast, we visited wine country today. We joined a great tour bus for the day trip to Napa and Sonoma. What started off as a quiet day with 9 strangers turned into a crazy day with friends.
Get Crap Done
Day 91 – Today I’ve been in meeting after meeting in San Francisco.
I’ve learned the big difference in San Francisco and the rest of the nation, maybe the world.
We hear good ideas all the time. I’m talking big game-changing ideas. But then they just disappear.
Why Michele Bachmann
Day 90 – Today provided quite the adventure. The Michele Bachmann for President camp sent out a release this morning at 9am announcing that I have joined the team. Just one problem with that – I’m in San Francisco. 9am eastern time is 6 am pacific time. My alarm clock was The Patch’s Greg Hambrick. Many more press calls followed, and my day suddenly went to crap before it even began.
Magic happens in San Francisco
Day 89 – So don’t start attacking me yet. I said I was going to blog every single day, and I meant it. I wrote a great post for Sunday about the lack of temperance in our society, but somehow it got deleted. I’ll have to rewrite it.
I’m back on an airplane. This time I’m heading to San Francisco. And I’m bringing Elizabeth with me.
