Day 37 – Let me tell you something that is driving me absolutely crazy – everyone is living completely unremarkable and ordinary lives. It seems that everyone is just pacing through life doing the same old boring routine that everyone else is doing just because they are supposed to.
Going to college and getting some degree that won’t get you ahead.
Buying the best car and the biggest house a bank will allow you to get.
Having kids just because everyone else is.
Working for companies whose primary goal is to get a few people rich.
Sitting at a desk all day and in front of a TV all night.
Living in some ordinary place just because your family has always lived there.
Letting dreams die.
Bla, bla, bla, bla. Status quo. Ordinary. Boring.
Folks, why are we all letting this happen? Why have so many of us become content on being ordinary? Why aren’t we running from bulls, climbing mountains and visiting far away lands?
Ponder that for a while.
